Coroner IDs man dead in North Las Vegas shooting
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 32-year-old man shot dead over the weekend in North Las Vegas.
Clark County coroner's officials say Ricardo Mora died of multiple gunshot wounds after the incident a little before 2 a.m. Sunday at a home on Terneza Avenue. That's near Pecos Road and East Tropical Parkway.
His cousin and roommate, Neftali Felipe Rodriguez, was arrested after he was found about 90 minutes later walking near Craig Road and Interstate 15.
Police also recovered a handgun believed to be the murder weapon.
Rodriguez is being held at the Las Vegas City Jail pending a court appearance on murder and weapon charges.
