Coroner identifies teen killed in crash Saturday night
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the 16-year-old killed in a crash late Saturday night on Jones Boulevard as Eddie Ruiz of Las Vegas.
Police say that the teenager was driving a Honda Civic when their vehicle made contact with another car.
Ruiz lost control of the car and it struck a fence and then a concrete wall.
His passenger, also a 16-year-old male, was rushed to University Medical Center in serious condition.
The driver of the other vehicle failed to stay at the scene of the collision and is wanted for questioning by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Accident Investigations Section.
