Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Locals celebrated Hanukkah Sunday at a Las Vegas temple.
A cookie decorating event was held at the Temple Beth Sholom on Havenwood Lane, for kids and families.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Hurricane Sandy victims.
More than 140 people attended Sunday's event.
The goal was to teach children the importance of giving back to their community.
Sunday also included live music and hot chocolate, to go with those delicious cookies.
