Lover's quarrel leads to deadly shooting on Harmon Avenue
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One woman is dead and another woman injured following an apartment complex shooting on East Harmon Avenue.
It happened just before 10:15 p.m. Friday at Canyon Pointe Apartments.
When Las Vegas Police arrived, the front window of the apartment was broken out. They found two females suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other, described as an elderly female, was transported to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition.
A juvenile was also found uninjured inside the apartment.
Homicide detectives said the shooting appeared to be part of a domestic dispute.
Detectives have identified 42-year-old Robert Brown Jr. of Las Vegas, as a person of interest in the shootings.
Brown Jr. is described as a white male, around 5'8" tall and weighing about 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he may be driving a red 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with Nevada personalized plates of "ARIYL."
Brown and the deceased victim were involved in a dating relationship prior to the shooting, police said.
The woman killed was identified as 29-year-old Nichole E. Nick of Las Vegas by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
