County accused of under-funding Southern Nevada Health District
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nevada Supreme Court says the county owes them money for under-funding the Southern Nevada Health District.
The court ordered Clark County to pay a minimum of $18 million.
That means county officials will have to impose a tax increase or cut services to come up with the money.
The health district sued the commission over underfunding its budget last year.
