Woman killed in Henderson motorcycle crash ID'd
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The Clark County coroner has identified a 19-year-old motorcyclist killed in a collision with a vehicle in Henderson as Destiny-Emily Maria Jorgensen.
Henderson police say Jorgensen was riding a 2011 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle on Green Valley Parkway when she collided a little before 7 p.m. Tuesday with a 2003 PT Cruiser turning left near Sunset Road.
Jorgensen was pronounced dead a short time later at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.
Police say the 64-year-old vehicle driver, Dwight Welton of Las Vegas, wasn't injured.
Police say Welton voluntarily submitted to blood testing, but drugs or alcohol and the speed of the vehicles didn't appear to be factors in the crash.
