Deaths of Reno couple was murder-suicide
RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Reno police have determined the deaths of a married couple in late November resulted from a murder-suicide.
Police say 48-year-old Rick Kelsay shot his 37-year-old wife, Anna, twice before turning the gun on himself on Nov. 20.
Police said in a statement Wednesday that Rick Kelsay was upset about their marriage but that there had not been any history of violence between the two before they met to talk about 3 p.m. that day.
Investigators believe the shootings occurred about two or three hours later at the residence at 1404 Copper Point Circle.
A friend of Anna's found the victims and called authorities about 6:30 p.m.
