SBA offers small business loans to storm victims
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV)-- The Small Business Administration made disaster declarations in Clark, Lincoln, and Nye Counties, making financial help for available for businesses hit by the storm.
The SBA is offering low interest loans, but the money can not be used toward flood repairs. The money can only be used to cover operating costs, like payroll or rent.
Businesses like Whazzup Pizza, located across the street from UNLV are still struggling. The owner says he needs 40-thousands dollars to rebuild. Much of his costs would not be covered by the SBA loan.
