Funeral held for local motorcyclist killed in crash

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local man was laid to rest Saturday after being killed in a motorcycle crash.

Services were held for 58-year-old Jim Bruchette.

It took place at Davis Funeral Home on Eastern Avenue, near Nellis Air Force Base.

A motorcycle procession was also held in his honor.

Bruchette was killed in a Nov. 25 crash.

A car traveling the opposite direction of Bruchette, crossed the median and hit his motorcycle head on.

He died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, Prentiss Bates, was arrested for DUI.
