Henderson man accused of stabbing ex-girlfriend to death
HENDERSON, NV (KTNV) -- 59-year-old Henderson resident Gary D. Gaston was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death.
According to the Henderson police, Gaston went to his ex-girlfriend's home on Rise Brook Drive off of Aspen Peak Loop at about 4:40 p.m.
The couple argued and Gaston then allegedly stabbed the woman.
Another woman in the home called 9-1-1 and reported that her friend had been stabbed. Gaston was still at the residence when the police arrived and he was taken into custody.
Police say that Gaston admitted stabbing the woman.
The victim was rushed to Sunrise Trauma but she died at about 5:35 p.m.
The victim's name will be released by the Clark County coroner's office after her family has been notified.
Gaston was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on murder and burglary with a deadly weapon charges. He is being held without bail.
