Fire department respond to fire at Village Square Walgreens
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Fire & Rescue is on the scene of a fire in the Walgreens located in the Village Square shopping plaza at 9300 W. Sahara Avenue.
According to spokesperson Tim Szymanski, multiple calls were received about smoke coming from the rear of the store in the stock room.
Light smoke was visible upon the fire department's arrival and the store was evacuated as a precaution.
The fire was quickly extinguished. It was confined to the ceiling/roof area of the stock room.
There was no damage to the public area of the store and no injuries reported.
There is no information yet on the cause of the fire.
