Dog survives coyote attack in northwest Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A routine walk almost ended in tragedy for a dog owner in the northwest part of the Valley and his six-pound Yorkshire Terrier.
It happened just a few weeks ago. Owner Jesse Leeds and Roxy were out on a walk by his home near Ann Road and Fort Apache when a coyote suddenly attacked the little dog.
Roxy suffered puncture wounds all over her body and her owner did not think she would survive. She also lost two teeth during the fight with the coyote.
Roxy is now being walked on a leash so she cant run far away from her owner during their walks.
