Plans for permanent zipline announced in downtown Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Plans for a permanent zipline were announced Tuesday morning in downtown Las Vegas.
The zipline, called 'SlotZilla,' will launch riders from an 11-story slot machine through the Fremont Street Experience.
A Fremont Street Experience spokesperson said 150 construction workers will be hired to complete SlotZilla and 100 employees will be hired to operate the ride when it opens.
Plans were announced with the help of Mayor Carolyn Goodman and other local leaders on Tuesday.
SlotZilla is expected to open in June of 2013.
