Man found dead in Las Vegas, suspect arrested in Arkansas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man was found dead inside a Las Vegas residence on Monday, and police say his killer fled to Arkansas.
Authorities were called to a condo complex in the 1900 block of North Torrey Pines Drive at about 9:30 a.m. by a resident nearby who was concerned about the man inside.
When police arrived, they found the man dead from apparent blunt force trauma.
Detectives issued a warrant for 32-year-old Richard Heron Jr. of Las Vegas in connection with the crime. Heron was arrested in Sheridan, Arkansas later that day. He will be extradited to Las Vegas and faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
