Crime Mapping shows trends in Las Vegas neighborhoods
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Crime Mapping is a new service available to the public that shows crime trends in Las Vegas.

The website tracks 15 categories of crime, including vandalism, burglaries and assaults.
Citizens can also sign up to receive crime alerts using the website.
Crime Mapping allows you to sort by type of crime, location, dates and the reporting agency.
The Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. said they hope this service helps improve safety in the community.
