Three sticks of dynamite found in bag on Fremont Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) - The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) found three sticks of dynamite in an abandoned bag on Fremont St. and 15th St.
A call came in to LVMPD for a bomb scare around 10 pm on Monday after a security guard discovered the bag.
After investigation, it was determined to be three unprimed sticks of dynamite and no other bomb making devices.
There was no threat of explosion.
The dynamite has been taken to Nellis Air Force Base for detonation.
