Couple found dead in apparent murder-suicide
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An elderly couple was found dead inside a Las Vegas home on Sunday morning in an apparent murder-suicide.
Police were called to a home in the 6400 block of East Tropicana Avenue just before 9 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man and woman inside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man died a short time later at Sunrise Trauma Center.
Homicide detectives said the incident appeared to be a murder-suicide.
The woman was later identified as 87-year-old Dorothy Huss and the man was identified as 86-year-old Clifford Huss.
The Clark County Coroner's Office said Dorothy was shot in the head before Clifford turned the gun on himself.
