Salvation Army places dozens of red kettles around Valley
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign is now in full swing.
The organization has about 100 kettles placed at locations around the Valley.
Volunteers are ringing bells in hopes of raising funds, so the Salvation Army can continue its work throughout the year.
But, the money helps the organization, the most, around Christmas.
Their goal is to raise $700,000 in their kettles.
The Salvation Army said if every Las Vegas resident donated 50-cents, they'd reach their campaign goal.
All money donated goes to local residents and local programs.
