Las Vegas police team up with local performers for safety messages
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has teamed up with local performers to send a message to party-goers flocking to Las Vegas nightclubs.
The purpose of the public service announcements is to put out a clear prevention message about sexual assaults and drinking responsibly.
The message from Luxor headliners Criss Angel and Carrot Top is "Don't be THAT guy." It is an appeal to young men to think before they drink and act responsible.
The girls from "Fantasy" tell young women to watch out for their friends and have a buddy system when they are out drinking.
The messages are the result of a partnership between LVMPD and the Rape Crisis Center.
