'Believe' campaign helps raise money for Make-A-Wish
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Every year, millions of children write their wish lists to Santa. This year, why not let that note make another child smile?
Caleen Norrod-Johnson from Make-A-Wish and Make-A-Wish recipient Jack Studley joined Action News Live @ Midday to talk about how a simple gesture can make a big impact.
The campaign is called "Believe" and is made possible by a partnership with Macy's.
"The way it works is you write a letter to Santa, and you bring your stamped letter to any Macy's, and you put it in their red mailbox," Norrod-Johnson said. "For every one of those letters, Macy's donates a dollar to Make-A-Wish, up to a million dollars."
The Believe campaign is in its fifth year. Money raised goes towards helping children's wishes come true.
