Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Qualified homeowners can make their homes more energy efficient this winter thanks to a $3,000 special winter rebate incentive designed to drive down energy costs. It's all part of the EnergyFit Nevada Program.

It costs $199 to start a home assessment. Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen's twin daughters have personally participated in the program. Mayor Hafen and the Henderson City Council will also declare Tuesday EnergyFit Nevada Day in order to raise awareness about how Nevada residents can take charge of their energy use.
