Coroner identifies man found after fire on 9th Street
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the man that was found after a fire at a residence on 9th Street near downtown Las Vegas as 36-year-old Reginald Jean Frisner Michel.
The fire was reported at about 11:05 p.m. Nov. 14. Fire investigators believe that the fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread to an adjacent bedroom where Michel was staying as a visitor.
Michel's body was found by firefighters near the bed after the blaze was extinguished.
The official cause of death was carbon monoxide intoxication, smoke inhalation and thermal injury.
Damage to the residence was estimated at $75,000.
