North Las Vegas residents upset over vandalism spree
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- People living in a North Las Vegas neighborhood are upset after waking up to find several of their cars with busted windows.
It all happened on Nevada Blaze Avenue near Bruce Street. Residents believe around 2 a.m. Sunday morning one or more people were shattering the windows of cars parked on the street. They don't report anything stolen, and it seems those responsible picked vehicles at random. Many people will still lose money though as they look to getting their windows replaced.
"I'm extremely upset. I am very upset. This is our family car. Out of both of them, this is what we drive our kids around every day. We're going out of town on Tuesday for Thanksgiving. We have to drive to Arizona. And it's not affordable for us to fix right now," says Tanya Fisk.
If you have any clues that may help police find the people responsible you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
North Las Vegas Police were contacted and they tell us the residents in the area have been advised to fill out police reports online or at the police station. They also say they will increase police presence in the area.
