Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- What started out as a small effort to help a charity, quickly turned into a huge fundraising event downtown.

Saturday was the first annual Downtown 360 Bowl at the Las Vegas Academy.

At first, it was just going to be a flag football team from Metro taking on a team from Zappos. But then word spread fast and more businesses wanted to take part.

All of the money raised is going toward a local designated drivers program.

The final game came down to Zappos and Metro squaring off. Zappos won and more than $2,000 was raised for charity.
