Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local shoppers are getting their first look inside the Valley's newest Big Lots store.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at about 9 a.m. Friday at the new location near West Tropical and Centennial Center.
During the celebration, a $2,500 check was given to the principal of Dean Allen Elementary School on behalf of the school.
The location is the tenth Big Lots store to open in the Valley and the second in a matter of a couple of weeks.
Big Lots hired 55 employees for the new store.
