3 arrested in apparent home invasion
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An apparent home invasion prompted Wynn Elementary School to be briefly shut down on Thursday.
Officers were called to reports of a home invasion in the 5000 block of Golden Spring Avenue, near South Decatur Boulevard and West Desert Inn Road, at about 3:10 p.m.
Police said a resident of the home was able to get out and call 911 from a neighbor's house.
Nearby Wynn Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
Three suspects were arrested just before 4 p.m.
The lockdown was then lifted.
