LVMPD searching for man who attempted to rob bank
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man who they say tried to rob a bank.
It happened Tuesday, Nov. 13 around 11:10 a.m. at a bank in the area of Fort Apache and Tropicana.
Police said the suspect stood in line, then approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The note read in part that he would start shooting.
The teller walked away from the window and the suspect then decided to leave without receiving any money.
He's described as a black male, late 40s to early 50s, 5'10" and weighs around 170 pounds.
