Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An arraignment for the man accused of crashing into a crowded bus stop, killing four people, has been postponed until Nov. 21.

Gary Lee Hosey Jr. appeared this morning before Clark County District Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti.

The arraignment was postponed because his attorneys are withdrawing from the case because of the family's inability to pay.

The public defender office will take over the case if there is not a conflict of interest. It was not immediately known if their office was representing any one else involved with the accident.

Police say that Hosey told them that he was in a hurry to get home so that his girlfriend could get to work on time.

Police also say that Hosey was above the legal limit for alcohol at the time although he says that he only consumed one beer.

The arraignment is now scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 24.
