Officer identified that shot man in leg
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The officer that was involved in the shooting on Nov. 11 that resulted in a man being shot in the leg has been identified as Officer Jacquer Roston.
The shooting happened after Roston responded to a domestic situation in a parking lot near South Hollywood and East Charleston Boulevard.
The man was shot as the police officer attempted to persuade him to leave a parked vehicle.
Roston, age 36, has been employed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department since 2009. He is assigned to Patrol Division, Southeast Area Command.
He was placed on administrative leave after the shooting.
The shooting was the fifth officer-involved shooting in a week.
