Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- In honor of National Philanthropy Day, the Association of Fundraising Professionals handed out awards at the Golden Nugget.
The organization went to companies and individuals making Las Vegas a better place to live by fundraising, donating and serving the community.
Six awards were handed out Tuesday.
The event marked the 21st annual Philanthropy Day in Southern Nevada.
