Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A child was hit by a car at Desert Inn and Arville on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said it happened just after 3:45 p.m.
A child around the age of 12 years old was struck by a sedan.
The girl was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
It was not immediately clear whether the child was in a marked crosswalk.
