Man shot at North Las Vegas casino identified

North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The 31-year-old man that was shot early Monday morning at the Lucky Club Casino on Civic Center Drive in North Las Vegas has been identified as Kevin Lavert Jones, Jr. of Las Vegas.

North Las Vegas police arrested 35-year-old Shonta Hammond for murder with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

A preliminary investigation determined that Hammond shot Jones during a dispute at the casino.

Hammond was booked into the Las Vegas City Jail.
