Potential home buyers encounter frustrations in the Valley
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) -- People looking to buy a home in the Valley are having a hard time. Especially those with qualified loans.
Realtors say the inventory of houses available to buy in the Las Vegas market is just under 4,000. Given the size of the Valley, that number should be more than 20,000.
Buyers are having to compete with cash investors, who experts say are buying up homes and renting them out.
Buyers say they are frustrated. Last year the inventory of available houses here in the Valley was more than 10,000.
