Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - A local business owner is picking up the pieces after a fire destroyed his jewelry warehouse.

Raphael Cohen received a phone call around 3 a.m. Sunday, that his warehouse near Tropicana and Valley View was in flames.

It's a massive setback for Cohen, the owner of the Universal Watch Co., who spent the day figuring out how to move forward now that his warehouse and the all the jewelry inside have gone up in smoke.

With dozens of orders on hold, Cohen is sifting through the rubble hoping to recover anything salvageable, to help his business to survive.

“We would like to save as much of our product as possible because without it we are out of business,” said Cohen.

Clark County Fire is investigating the cause of the blaze, they estimates damages to be around $1 million.
