NLV police car crashes into power box after traffic collision

North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The North Las Vegas Police Department and Clark County Fire Department were called to a vehicle accident involving a North Las Vegas Police Officer at Craig Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Officials with the police department told Action News the officer was driving through an intersection when the marked police unit was T-boned by the driver of another vehicle. The accident forced the police cruiser to crash into an electrical box on the corner of the two streets.

The fault of the accident is still being investigated by police.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with, according to police, non-life threatening injuries.
