Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The big drop in temperatures could be felt across the Valley Saturday.

The clouds and cold weren't able to scare away too many Las Vegans. Despite this being the coldest day we've had in months, the people Action News spoke with were prepared for the change in the weather.

There were dozens of folks out at Desert Breeze Park Saturday afternoon, even though the temperatures at the time were in the 50s.

People that were there for a Little League game were bundled up with blankets and hot drinks, but the most popular people were the ones who brought portable heaters.

Just a few yards away, people put on layers of clothes before taking their dogs for some exercise in the park.

But many owners dressed their dogs for the weather as well, putting them in some pet clothing of their own.

Pets are one of the four Ps you need to watch out for when there is a freeze warning in effect.

The others being pipes, plants and people. So be sure to take care of all those things, as well as yourselves Saturday night.
