Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for clues after a woman was found dead in a downtown alley Thursday night.
Someone called 911 just before 7:30 p.m. to report a body in an alley near 10th Street and Stewart Avenue.
When police arrived, they found the woman's body and called homicide detectives to take over the investigation.
The woman is described as about 55 years old, 5-feet 6-inches tall with a medium to heavy build. She had red hair and a scar on her left shoulder.
The woman has not been identified and it's unclear what caused her death.
Detectives are searching for clues in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
