Woman, children escape fire in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman and three children escaped a fire with minor injuries at a home in North Las Vegas on Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Desert Park Avenue, near North Decatur and West Grand Teton, at about 3:20 p.m.
When they arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the second story.
Fire officials said a woman, her daughter and two neighbor children were able to escape. The woman, daughter and one of the neighbor children were taken to a nearby hospital with minor burns.
The second story of the home was completely destroyed.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
