Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- UNLV said thank you to veterans on Wednesday with its annual Walk to Remember.
Runners and walkers carried the American flag through the heart of campus.
Organizers chose Wednesday because it's the busiest day on campus.
Participants hope the event reminds students to thank a veteran this weekend.
