Woman killed in weekend fire identified
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The woman killed in a fire at an apartment complex over the weekend has been identified.
She was 61-year-old Deborah Whitt of Las Vegas.
Whitt was found dead in a fire Saturday night in her apartment on the 6200 block of West Tropicana, between Torrey Pines and South Jones Boulevard.
Neighbors told Action News that Whitt was confined to a wheelchair. They remember her for her kindness to children in the neighborhood.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
