Catholic Charities seeks food donations for Thanksgiving
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is in need of donations to help feed the hungry this Thanksgiving.
The local organization is asking the community to donate turkeys and non-perishable food items to help offset the burden of rising costs on the charity.
Donations will go towards Catholic Charities' Thanksgiving basket giveaway, which provides a frozen turkey and other food items to families in need. Up to 4,000 families will benefit from the one-day event.
Anyone interested in donating can call 385-2662 or deliver donations to Catholic Charities at 1501 Las Vegas Boulevard North.
