Suspect shot by Las Vegas police on Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A carjacking suspect is in stable condition after being shot by a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer Saturday night.
The incident began at around 9:30 p.m. when police were called to the 5300 block of Boulder Highway, just north of East Tropicana Avenue.
Officials said that they believe the man was involved in two separate carjackings and a domestic violence incident.
They believe the suspect was also the subject of another call of a suicidal person.
It is unclear at this time if the suspect shot at officers. Officials will only say that they were forced to shoot the suspect soon after arriving at the scene.
This was the third officer-involving shooting in the last six days in the Las Vegas valley.
