Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Valley welcomed both President Obama and Vice Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan on Thursday.
The day started with the president but finished with Ryan's visit.
Nevada may only have six electoral votes but in a race this close, those six votes matter and the candidates know it.
That is why with only a few days remaining until the election, the Valley hosted two big names on the ballot.
Air Force Once touched down at McCarran on Thursday just after 1 p.m., kicking off a busy day for politics in the Valley.
The president drew a crowd of more than 4,000 people to the Cheyenne Sports Complex in North Las Vegas.
Actress Eva Longoria addressed the crowd first, encouraging voters to cast their ballots early.
The president spoke about job growth, saying he is not Mitt Romney and is the right candidate for the middle class.
Just a couple of hours after President Obama left town, Paul Ryan made an appearance at the Republican campaign headquarters, speaking to a very energized crowd of campaign volunteers.
The vice presidential candidate took time to meet with volunteers, sign autographs and shook hands before grabbing a seat and making a few campaign phone calls of his own.
Early voting ends on Friday and people at both of Thursday's events said that they still have not decided.
And that is why the candidates were back in town.
