Families celebrate Halloween at Metro's Trunk-or-Treat event
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Trunk-or-Treat event gave parents peace of mind with a safe place for children to collect candy on Halloween.
The event took place at LVMPD's Bolden Area Command near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard.
Children went from car to car, collecting candy and meeting police officers.
The event also featured a raffle, a DJ and displays showing off several police programs.
Trunk-or-Treat lasted from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The event was made possible by donations from several towning companies.
