Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas is at the center of the automotive universe this week.
The SEMA Show gets started Tuesday, showcasing the latest technology the industry has to offer.
1,500 of the most unique cars in the world are on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center, making this year's show the biggest in its history.
"We've even got a car that drives itself," said Peter MacGillieray with SEMA. "So there really is an array of amazing stuff that's on display."
This year's show appears to be a good indication that the economy is improving. Hundreds of exhibitors have traveled from around the world to be in Las Vegas for SEMA this year.
"This is where global gearheads gather," MacGillieray said. "We've got folks from all over the world. 130,000 attendees at least will be coming to Las Vegas to do business."
