Coroner identifies woman killed near Charleston & Shadow Lane
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the woman killed early Sunday morning on Charleston Boulevard near Shadow Lane as 29-year-old Diane Marie Harmon.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Harmon was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed on West Charleston Boulevard when she struck a Ford truck at about 2:42 a.m.
The collision resulted in the Nissan catching fire and Harmon died at the scene.
23-year-old Tatiana Taylor, the driver of the truck, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center.
The official cause for Harmon's death has yet to be determined.
Harmon's death was the 93rd traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction this year.
