Sex case involving ex-foster dad ordered to trial
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) -- A judge says there's enough evidence for a trial of a former foster parent and another man accused of sexually abusing children at a North Las Vegas foster home.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports former foster dad Marvie Hill and business partner Eddie Wormwood will now be arraigned Nov. 6.
The 37-year-old Hill faces charges of sexual assault with a minor, lewdness with a minor, and open and gross lewdness.
The 44-year-old Wormwood faces charges of sexual assault with a minor.
They also face similar charges in a second case that was bound over to district court earlier this week.
Hill and Wormwood worked for United Family Transitional Homes, a nonprofit halfway home for sex offenders, where Hill was honored in 2005 for his work as a foster parent.
