Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man police say was intoxicated when he caused a crash that sent three people to the hospital has been released on his own recognizance.

35-year-old Uziel Reyez Perez was charged with DUI after hitting three pedestrians on Veterans Memorial Drive near Washington.

Their current conditions are unknown.

Reyez Peres will be back in court for his preliminary hearing on Jan. 17.
