Free legal services offered during pro-bono week
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The fourth annual Celebration of Pro Bono Week is taking place through Oct. 27 in the state of Nevada, including Las Vegas.
Several events have been scheduled for the week including:
"Legal Aid Fair", Tuesday Oct. 23, at the East Las Vegas Community Center from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
"Federal Court Ask-A-Lawyer Program", Wednesday Oct. 24, at the Lloyd George United States Courthouse, Jury Assembly Room from 2 pm to 5 pm.
"Landlord Tenant Ask-A-Lawyer Program", Wednesday Oct. 24, at the Civil Law Self-Help Center, Regional Justice Center from 10 pm to noon and 1 pm - 3 pm.
"Ask-A-Lawyer at Family Court", Thursday Oct. 25, at the Family Court Self-Help Center from 2 pm to 5 pm.
People who are seeking guidance for civil matters including family law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord/tenant matters, and many other consumer questions can visit one of three law fairs where volunteer attorneys will be available to provide information and answer questions.
