Hearing set for defendant in Okla. Cathouse deaths
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma County judge has set a Feb. 15 preliminary hearing for a man accused of killing four people, including a prostitute featured on HBO's "Cathouse" series.
Special Judge Fred Doak on Tuesday set the hearing for 34-year-old Denny Phillips.
Phillips faces six counts of first-degree murder for the 2009 shooting deaths of 22-year-old Brooke Phillips, who had worked as a prostitute at the legal brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nev.
Also killed were 22-year-old Milagrous Barrera, 25-year-old Jennifer Ermey and 32-year-old Casey Mark Barrientos. The two additional murder charges are because Phillips and Barrera were pregnant.
David Allen Tyner was sentenced to life in prison in May after pleading guilty to six first-degree murder charges in the case.
